  • Prösels Castle shows the life of the Masters of Prösels and provides an insight into their arms collection.
  • The ruins of Salegg and Hauenstein are connected to the name of knight Oswald von Wolkenstein.
  • Those interested in culture can follow the traces of this singer, poet and adventure-seeker on the Oswald von Wolkenstein path.
  • In the Museum Ladin you'll get to know everything about Ladin culture. Admire artistic handcrafts and sculpture works at Unika... hence, Gröden is definitely worth a day excursion!

  • Tiers and the S. Zyprian Chapel: the idyllic mountain village of Tiers and the famous S. Zyprian Chapel are definitely worth a visit!
  • Romantic Christmas Markets... in Kastelruth, St. Christina, Bozen, Brixen, Meran and other towns. In addition to numerous souvenirs you'll find hand-made gifts and enjoy South Tyrolean specialities!
  • The Medieval town of Brixen is a small, but enchanting shopping town. Furthermore, you can visit the Crib Museum, the Hofburg, the White Tower and the Augustin Convent in Neustift.
  • The capital of South Tyrol - Bozen: in Bozen you can visit the Ötzi Museum, theMuseion – Museum for Modern Art, the dome, the archways with gazebos narrow lanes, the fruit market, Walther Square, the MMM – Messner Mountain Museum, Runkelstein Castle and numerous shops. The fruit and vegetable and fish markets are ideal for grocery shopping. You also get meat and cheese. A farmers' market with delicious South Tyrolean farming products takes place on Fridays.
  • In the spa town Meran you'll find the Thermal Baths, the botanic gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, the Touriseum , the cure promenade, Tappeiner trail and the Women's Museum.
